These Terms & Conditions govern your use of https://www.theblacklight.ca and the services provided by The Black Light. By accessing our website, booking a consultation, or receiving a treatment, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Our Services
The Black Light provides scalp micropigmentation (SMP), permanent makeup (PMU), microblading and ombre brows, lip blush, permanent eyeliner, and professional SMP and PMU training. Our services are cosmetic in nature and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Eligibility & Health Disclosure
You must be at least 18 years of age to receive treatment. You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, medications, skin conditions, or prior cosmetic work that may affect your treatment or results. A consultation is required before treatment so we can assess suitability. We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment where it is not in your best interest.
Bookings, Deposits & Cancellations
A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your appointment, which is applied toward the cost of your treatment. We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in forfeiture of your deposit.
Results Disclaimer
SMP and PMU results vary from person to person based on skin type, lifestyle, healing, and aftercare. While we use professional techniques and premium pigments to achieve natural, long-lasting results, we cannot guarantee a specific outcome. Most treatments require multiple sessions, and periodic touch-ups are needed to maintain results over time.
Aftercare Responsibility
Proper aftercare is essential to the longevity and quality of your results. You agree to follow the aftercare instructions provided after each session. We are not responsible for poor outcomes caused by failure to follow aftercare guidance or by undisclosed health conditions.
Pricing
Prices are determined during your consultation based on the treatment area, number of sessions, and level of detail required. Quotes provided are estimates and may be adjusted if the scope of your treatment changes. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, before-and-after photos, logos, and branding — is the property of The Black Light and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Black Light is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Our services are provided on an "as is" basis.
